“A Maroon Moose” is a whimsical picture that evolved out of the birth of my first son. I found I took a liking to Woodland Animals, and especially ones with textural fir. I particularly like this print because of the colour choices.
This print is a a reduction relief print, carved in 4 separate layers. The image size is 8″ x 6″, with a large border, to allow for different framing options. The image is printed using water based ink on Stonehenge paper. This is a limited edition image, with only 4 of it’s kind.
This is a hand printed image, meaning that each print will differ slightly from the image shown. This is not a reflection of the quality of the print, but rather a highlight of the nature of the process.
