This print was a new venture for me.  I have always loved animals, and whimsical things found in nature.  For this one, I decided to use nature as a starting point, as I researched different wood slices.  I really like the intricate layers found in the wood, and that no two rings are the same.  I also like how you can stare at the tree rings, and see something new each and every time. 

This print is a single layer relief print.  The image size is 12″ x 12″, with a large border, to allow for different framing options.  The image is printed using water based ink on Stonehenge paper.  This image can be custom printed in a variety of colours should you want a custom print.

This is a hand printed image, meaning that each print will differ slightly from the image shown.  This is not a reflection of the quality of the print, but rather a highlight of the nature of the process.
