“In View” is a what I see every time I drive or cycle down Trussler Road, outside of Ayr, ON, on the way to my parent’s house.  There is something nostalgic about the route.  It brings back memories from childhood, it is the road that my grandmother grew up on as well.  Lastly, it is just so picturesque!  This image is my first attempt at playing with texture to create a landscape, and I am quite happy with the way that it turned out!

This print is a relief print, carved with 1 layers.  The image size is 11.5″ x 6″, with a large border, to allow for different framing options.  The image is printed using water based ink on Stonehenge paper.  This image is created using an ombre technique, but could be custom ordered in a single colour, or another version of ombre.

This is a hand printed image, meaning that each print will differ slightly from the image shown.  This is not a reflection of the quality of the print, but rather a highlight of the nature of the process.
